Machar describes David Yau Yau as ‘Private Citizen,’ grants him permission to land in Juba

April 25, 2020 (Thessherald)–South Sudan’s First Vice President and Deputy Chairman of the High-level Task Forces on COVID-19, Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Zhurgon has granted Special Permission for a charter plane carrying Acting Governor of Pibor Administrative Area David Yau Yau.

“On Requests for Special Permission to entre or leave the country, The High-Level Taskforce resolves to grant Special Permission for a charter plane to fly a private South Sudanese citizen, Mr David Yauyau from Pibor to Juba on 26 April 2020.”

In the same update on coronavirus, the Presidency agrees to grant special permission to all foreign nationals, allowing them to return to their countries of as long as they proven and tested negative for COVID-19.

“The High-Level Taskforce resolves that passengers returning to their home countries shall be allowed to leave the country without a perquisites for providing a certified evidence of COVID-19 free status.”

Moreover, the High-Level Task Force on COVID-19 grants Special Permission for a plane belonging to the World Food Programme.

“Grant Special Permission for A WFP Aircraft CESSNA C-208B with Registration No. ET-AOF operated by the Abyssinian Flights Services to land in Juba International Airport on 25th March 2020.”
