South Sudan records 3 more COVID-19-related deaths

May 15, 2020 Thessherald)–The Ministry of Health has registered three more COVID-19 related death cases just one day after the country’s first death was announced on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the government announced a fresh spike in the number of confirmed cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 236 in the country.

Moreover, President Salva Kiir Mayardit has dissolved the High-Level Task Force on COVID-19 headed by him and reconstituted a new committee composed of senior officials led by Vice President Hussein Abdelbagi Akol Agany.
