Family issues statement on the death of three children
Subject: Murdering of three girls in Rock City Residential Area, Juba, South Sudan
August 5, 2020 (Thessherald)–Dear All, As family and friends of Mr. Edward Jami Andrew and Mrs. Gialda Gideon Juma, would like to provide you facts and occurrences of murdering of the three daughters of our brother and son Mr. Edward Jami.
The three girls, Noemi, Blessing and Faith, live with their mother in Rock City residential area, in her older brother’s house, Eng. Gandi Gideon.
In the afternoon of Saturday August 1, 2020, she left the kids in the house and went to visit her auntie who is sick in hospital.
On her returned back at 4pm, she was shocked by finding the bodies of her three duaghters laid in the room after being slaughtered in the house. And she didn’t find any person or any tools used for the killing of the children, but the room was full of the blood, the mother despite the shock, she manages to call the police.
Later on, the police arrived at scene of the crime, they closed the area for investigation and collection of any evidence which may be available and took the bodies to the Military Hospital’s Mortuary.
On Sunday August 2, 2020, some people were identified by police and currently under investigation and the authorities promised that they will release the results of their investigations as soon as it is concluded.
We also would like to inform the public that kindly disregard all the rumors circulating in the social media and some New Papers’’ articles.
Kindly also note that all information should be channel through concern authorities (Police and Prosecution) and the family of Mr. Edward Jami Andrew and Mrs. Gialda Gideon Juma.
Finally, we would like to inform relatives, friends and public that the bodies were laid to rest in their father house at Gueri residential area on August 3, 2020.
