Latest: Governance Cluster chaired by FVP Machar passes Five Bills
Oct 6, 2020 (Thessherald)–The Governance Cluster headed by the First Vice-President Dr. Riek Machar has passed five Bills and made its recommendations to the Council of Ministers for approval.
“Governance Cluster meeting No. 20/2020 today passed a number of Bills, amended, 2019 (updated 2020), and recommended them to the Council of Ministers for approval, then to be tabled before a reconstituted Parliament,” said the Office of the First Vice-President.
“The five Bills are The Prisons Service, The Sudan People’s Liberation Army, now South Sudan People’s Defense Forces, The National Security Service and The Wildlife Service.”
However, the Office of the First Vice-President noted that a few pending issues are expected to be finalized soon.
