Zain network resumes operations in Nasir County
November 2, 2020 (Thessherald)–On Sunday, the mobile network operator, Zain network resumed its normal operations in Nasir County, Upper Nile State after a temporary shutdown caused by a technical glitch in the system.
Speaking exclusively with Thessherald on Sunday, Stephen Gai Kak, a senior staff member working for the Global Network of Knowledge and Empowerment Agency (UNKEA), a national organization operating in South Sudan, confirmed that the network has returned to normal after a brief shutdown.
“UNKEA transported Zain company today [November 1, 2020] from Ulang to Nasir town to restore Zain mobile network today.”
“Yes, I can confirm that the network has resumed and residents can now start their regular communications with loved ones in other parts of the world,” said Stephen Gai on Sunday.
Zain, the country’s leading mobile operator, provides voice and internet services to millions of subscribers.
