Opposition leader Besigye upset as S. Sudan stun Uganda 1-0 in Nairobi

Nov 16, 2020 (Thessherald)–Prominent Ugandan opposition leader Kizza Besigye has described today’s match between Uganda and South Sudan as “upsetting” and stressed the need to strengthen the defense team.
“The Uganda Cranes 0:1 loss to South Sudan Bright Stars was a big upset. Especially shows need to strengthen the teams defence,” said Uganda’s prominent opposition figure in a brief statement on social media.
Besigye, who has lost a number of disputed elections against long-time leader Yoweri Museveni, blames the Cranes for their recent loss to South Sudan.
On Monday, the Bight Stars won 1-0 against the Cranes in a Group B qualifier of the Africa Cup of Nations at Nyayo Stadium in the capital, Nairobi.
